About

I am a Dublin based Visual Artist. I use textiles, paint, colouring pencils, pastels, and ceramics to create vibrant, humorous, pattern-filled and often deceptively playful reflections on my own realities. My work examines contradicting qualities within my relationships; familial, romantic, and platonic. I playfully consider the line dividing beauty and disaster, and appreciate the qualities of what’s seen or accepted as unappealing. I’m interested in questioning how we show love, lust, care, intimacy, aggression, and disgust and how these seemingly opposing emotions are interconnected. I like to observe and explore how we impose these feelings on each other and on the things around us.
