Love it for longer: Clothing Repair workshops

Participatory research and workshop facilitation have been central to my practice since 2023, when I began working as a Repair Tutor for the Primark Cares initiative, Love It For Longer. While the workshops exist within a commercial retail setting, my interest in the project has always been rooted in accessibility, collective learning, and sustainable making. Through the workshops Repurpose & Relove and Embroider & Upcycle, I work with participants to explore clothing as something emotional, repairable and personal, extending the life of garments through small acts of care, alteration, and reimagination.

Across my work, I am interested in tactility, intimacy, labour, and the emotional residue carried within everyday materials and objects. The workshops function as an extension of this practice: spaces for conversation, exchange, and collective creativity.
